Immigration Policy though it is the top priority of the First Term of the President is not being pushed for this year. According to the President he wants a discussion on the reforms to be done but economy comes first. Since there are a lot of issues pressing forward for immediate solution this may take some time to be brought up. The number of illegal immigrants in the US is an astonishing 12 million. The new administration wants to find out ways by which the stay of some immigrants could be made legal and the border security should be strengthened to cut down the illegal immigration.

In order to tackle the issues based on immigration, the U.S. President Barack Obama has decided to reorganization it this year. The statistics shows that nearly twelve million illegal immigrants are living in the United States. It is believed that he might be addressing about this issue directly to the public in May.
