Gibson’s Wife Files For Divorce
Actor Mel Gibson is in the limelight for a different reason. His wife, Robyn Gibson has filed for divorce, after 28 years of getting married. The Gibsons were married in 1980 and have seven children, one of them still a minor. Mrs.Gibson has cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of the divorce suit.
The Braveheart star has a wealth of about $640m and it is believed that Robyn will receive half of it as per Californian law. It appears Mrs. Gibson is also asking for support payments and has also requested joint custody of their minor son. The actor has refused support payments and has stated that they have been separated since August 2006.
