Group Arrested
Friday, February 6th, 2009In the mountains of the southern Saudi Arabia 11 suspects believed to be members of the al Qaeda terrorist group were arrested. The group which was described as a cell was having plans to attack the city by targeting policemen, robbing banks and by kidnapping local citizens. These activities were planned basically to help themselves finance their activities. The identities of those arrested are yet to be known. The elements were said to be working with the al- Qaeda outside Saudi Arabia who were directing their operations said a spokesman of the Saudi Ministry. Weapons were recovered from the ground.
